We're seeking a Backend Engineer to build robust and scalable API services for our platform. You'll work on critical systems that handle financial data, user authentication, and integrations with payment processors.
Responsibilities
- •Design and implement scalable, reliable API services
- •Build and maintain database models and optimize query performance
- •Integrate with third-party payment services and financial tools
- •Implement security best practices to protect sensitive financial data
- •Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration
- •Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality code standards
Requirements
- •3+ years of experience with backend development in Node.js or similar
- •Strong understanding of database design and optimization
- •Experience with RESTful APIs and API design patterns
- •Knowledge of security best practices for financial applications
- •Familiarity with cloud services and serverless architectures
- •Experience with TypeScript and automated testing
